OpenSSL is an open-source toolkit that implements SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols. The system/openssl test profiles relies on benchmarking the system/OS-supplied openssl binary rather than the pts/openssl test profile that uses the locally-built OpenSSL for benchmarking.
