Intel Core i7 testing with a Apple MacBook Pro and Intel Iris Plus 650 2GB on macOS 10.14.2 via the Phoronix Test Suite.
Intel Core i7
Processor: Intel Core i7 @ 3.50GHz (2 Cores / 4 Threads), Motherboard: Apple MacBook Pro, Memory: 2 x 8 GB LPDDR3-2133MHz, Disk: 932GB, Graphics: Intel Iris Plus 650 2GB, Monitor: Color LCD
OS: macOS 10.14.2, Kernel: 18.2.0 (x86_64), Display Server: X Server 1.18.4, OpenGL: 2.1, Compiler: Apple LLVM 10.0.0 (clang-1000.10.44.4) + GCC 4.2.1 + Xcode 10.1, File-System: APFS, Screen Resolution: 2560x1600
Environment Notes: XPC_FLAGS=0x0
Python Notes: Python 2.7.15 + Python 3.7.2
SQLite
This is a simple benchmark of SQLite. At present this test profile just measures the time to perform a pre-defined number of insertions on an indexed database. Learn more via the OpenBenchmarking.org test page.
Compile Bench
Compilebench tries to age a filesystem by simulating some of the disk IO common in creating, compiling, patching, stating and reading kernel trees. It indirectly measures how well filesystems can maintain directory locality as the disk fills up and directories age. This current test is setup to use the makej mode with 10 initial directories Learn more via the OpenBenchmarking.org test page.
Unpacking The Linux Kernel
This test measures how long it takes to extract the .tar.xz Linux kernel package. Learn more via the OpenBenchmarking.org test page.
PostMark
This is a test of NetApp's PostMark benchmark designed to simulate small-file testing similar to the tasks endured by web and mail servers. This test profile will set PostMark to perform 25,000 transactions with 500 files simultaneously with the file sizes ranging between 5 and 512 kilobytes. Learn more via the OpenBenchmarking.org test page.
Gzip Compression
This test measures the time needed to archive/compress two copies of the Linux 4.13 kernel source tree using Gzip compression. Learn more via the OpenBenchmarking.org test page.
