Mac OS X 10.8 vs. Ubuntu 12.04 Benchmarks
Performance benchmarks of Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion using the Developer Preview 1 build 12A128p. Testing being done from a 2011 Apple Mac Mini with Intel Sandy Bridge processor. This is still some early Mac OS X 10.8 benchmarking of performance with more coming once OS X 10.8 is officially released in summer of 2012. Performance compared to Ubuntu 11.10 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 2012-02-19 from the same Mac Mini setup. Benchmarking for a future article on Phoronix.com by Michael Larabel.
