SPECViewPerf 2020

This test runs SPECViewPerf 2020 if available on your system. SPECViewPerf is made up of real-world OpenGL workstation tests such as CATIA and SolidWorks.

This test will only work if you have a local copy of SPECViewPerf 2020 v3.0. Downloads/details @ https://gwpg.spec.org/bench-marks/specviewperf-2020v3-0-linux-edition/ This test profile simply automates the installation if finding viewperf2020_3.0_amd64.deb in your download cache otherwise checks to see if the test is already installed to /opt/SPEC/SPECviewperf2020 and then executing SPECViewPerf using the built-in ViewPerf CLI controls.

To run this test with the Phoronix Test Suite, the basic command is: phoronix-test-suite benchmark specviewperf2020.

Add SPECViewPerf 2020 v3.0 Linux support for automating the benchmark assuming the user either has the Deb package already downloaded and in the cache or the user has already installed it to /opt.

Performance Metrics

Analyze Test Configuration:

SPECViewPerf 2020 3.0

Resolution: 2560 x 1440 - Viewset: MEDICAL-O3

OpenBenchmarking.org metrics for this test profile configuration based on 245 public results since 3 March 2022 with the latest data as of 13 December 2024.

Below is an overview of the generalized performance for components where there is sufficient statistically significant data based upon user-uploaded results. It is important to keep in mind particularly in the Linux/open-source space there can be vastly different OS configurations, with this overview intended to offer just general guidance as to the performance expectations.
