LAME MP3 Encoding

LAME is an MP3 encoder licensed under the LGPL. This test measures the time required to encode a WAV file to MP3 format.

This utility test profile is maintained by Michael Larabel. This OpenBenchmarking.org test profile was created on 6 December 2010 and last updated on 3 September 2019. To run this test with the Phoronix Test Suite, the basic command is: phoronix-test-suite benchmark encode-mp3.

This test has an average install time of 58 seconds and an average run-time of 2 minutes, 24 seconds.
