AMD CPUs with Ryzen 9 3950X, Threadripper 2990WX, Threadripper 3960X, Threadripper 3970X, Threadripper 3990X. The Intel relevant CPUs are the Core i9 10980XE, Xeon Platinum 8253 (roughly the same 3990X cost at $3100~3400 retail, but currently going for above $4k), plus dual Xeon Platinum 8280. All tests using an Ubuntu 20.04 LTS snapshot.
