Intel OpenGL Windows 7 vs. Ubuntu 12.04 Linux
Benchmarking Intel Core i7 3770K Ivy Bridge and Intel Core i5 2500K Sandy Bridge processors for a future article on Phoronix.com. Looking at OpenGL scaling performance under Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64 Build 7600 with the Intel Intel 8.15.10.2696 Windows Ivy Bridge graphics driver and with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on the Linux x86_64 side with then upgrading to Linux 3.4 kernel, Mesa 8.1-devel, xf86-video-intel DDX, and libdrm all from Git as of late April.

This is a benchmark of Nexuiz, a popular open-source first-person shooter. This game uses the DarkPlaces engine, which is a largely modified version of the Quake engine with extra features such as High Dynamic Range rendering and OpenGL 2.0 shaders.
