R600 Radeon / Gallium3D 2D Color Tiling
Testing out the latest R600+ Radeon / Gallium3D 2D Color tiling with the latest Git of drm-next, Mesa 8.1-devel Git master, and xf86-video-ati Git as of 15 March. Comparing same stack when enabling ColorTiling and ColorTiling2D from the Radeon xorg.conf as well as setting R600_SURF=1 environment variable. Testing with a Radeon HD 4890 and Radeon HD 6950. Nexuiz
This is a benchmark of Nexuiz, a popular open-source first-person shooter. This game uses the DarkPlaces engine, which is a largely modified version of the Quake engine with extra features such as High Dynamic Range rendering and OpenGL 2.0 shaders.
