Ubuntu13.04-3.8.0-31-RadeonIssues This is a run of a complex system test with the new kernel 3.8.0-31 which is currently not working well with my Radeon driver. This is problematic, and due to the old 3.2.0* kernel working with Radeon KMS, I want to understand what is happening, and potentially different in the system. This will be saved to be compared with the old Ubuntu 12.04 Radeon KMS run, as well as using Ubuntu 13.04 with the older 3.2.0* kernel. 3.8.0-31Ubuntu13.04RadeonFallback: Processor: Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz (8 Cores), Motherboard: Dell 0G3HR7, Chipset: Intel Core DMI, Memory: 8192MB, Disk: 1500GB Seagate ST31500341AS + 1000GB My Book 1110 + 2000GB My Book 1140, Graphics: LLVMpipe, Audio: Realtek ALC887, Monitor: DELL ST2010, Network: Broadcom NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit PCIe + Atheros AR928X Wireless OS: Ubuntu 13.04, Kernel: 3.8.0-31-generic (x86_64), Desktop: Unity 7.0.0, Display Server: X Server 1.13.3, Display Driver: radeon 7.1.0, OpenGL: 2.1 Mesa 9.1.4 Gallium 0.4, Compiler: GCC 4.7, File-System: ext4, Screen Resolution: 1280x1024 PostMark 1.51 Disk Transaction Performance TPS > Higher Is Better 3.8.0-31Ubuntu13.04RadeonFallback . 4193 |===================================== RAMspeed SMP 3.5.0 Type: Average - Benchmark: Integer MB/s > Higher Is Better 3.8.0-31Ubuntu13.04RadeonFallback . 9282.51 |================================== RAMspeed SMP 3.5.0 Type: Average - Benchmark: Floating Point MB/s > Higher Is Better 3.8.0-31Ubuntu13.04RadeonFallback . 9824.91 |================================== C-Ray 1.1 Total Time Seconds < Lower Is Better 3.8.0-31Ubuntu13.04RadeonFallback . 62.82 |==================================== Apache Benchmark 2.4.3 Static Web Page Serving Requests Per Second > Higher Is Better 3.8.0-31Ubuntu13.04RadeonFallback . 14197.84 |=================================
