Ubuntu Linux vs. OS X 10.8 vs. Windows 7
Intel Core i5-2415M testing with a Apple Mac-8ED6AF5B48C039E1 and Intel Sandybridge Mobile (GT2+) on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with Linux 3.2 kernel and Ubuntu 12.10 with Linux 3.5 kernel and then Ubuntu 12.10 with Linux 3.6 and Mesa 8.1-devel and other Intel Linux graphics Git components. Last but not least, Microsoft Windows 7 Pro x64 with latest Intel graphics driver was tossed in. Compared to Apple OS X 10.8 on this mid-2011 Apple Mac Mini. Benchmarking by Michael Larabel for a future article on Phoronix.com.
