Radeon X300 Linux Driver; Catalyst Gallium3D
Future article on Phoronix.com by Michael Larabel looking at Mobility Radeon X300 on ThinkPad R51 notebook in various driver configurations under Ubuntu Linux. Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS with Catalyst 8.3 (found in Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy repo) compared to Ubuntu 11.10 Linux with its stock stack and then latest Git graphics packages -- Linux 3.2, Mesa 8.0 Gallium3D, etc. Swap buffers wait for the Radeon X.Org driver was disabled.
