Razer BlackWidow, Other Products On Linux?: The Razer BlackWidow is an incredibly well constructed mechanical keyboard, but how well does it work under Linux? Has the Razer product support at Linux improved at all recently?..

Roccat Linux Support Keeps Coming: Roccat, the European manufacturer of various gaming peripherals like keyboards and mice, actually has rather good Linux support for their hardware...

Razer Arctosa Keyboard: Razer is a company that began by producing high-end gaming mice like the Copperhead and since that point they have ventured into other gaming products like high-end sound cards, headphones, and mouse pads. Back in 2006 we looked at the Razer Tarantula, but the Arctosa has now succeeded that gaming keyboard.

Razer DeathAdder Linux Program: As was pointed out in the Phoronix Forums, there is now an open-source utility to configure your Razer DeathAdder mouse under Linux. This DeathAdder Linux program can control the LEDs as well as altering the scanning resolution, frequency, and profiles. While this program is aimed for the DeathAdder mouse on Linux, it also supports changing the scan resolution for the Razer Krait mouse.

Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard: Razer has been known for their array of professional gaming mice while recently we had looked at their Barracuda AC-1 and HP-1 audio products, but how well is this company able produce a professional gaming keyboard? After months of anticipation the Razer Tarantula Keyboard is finally shipping to retailers, and we happen to have our hands on this keyboard to see whether it is worth using under Linux.

Razer Mice + Linux Update: As it has been almost a month since any Razer updates have been passed along, here are a few additional notes. Phoronix still has yet to hear back from Razer Inc on whether they plan to port their drivers to Linux, release specifications, or do anything else to help the Linux community.

RazerTool - Razer *NIX: As Phoronix has been doing for a while now, we have been lobbying to hopefully have Razer Inc release the specifications to their mice, open-source their drivers, or create viable Linux drivers -- or practically anything to support the Linux community. While we have been tempted to start a community-driven project for this *NIX Razer support in GPL fashion, it seems that a SourceForge project has spawned that attempts to do just that.

Industry Reviews

Razer Anansi MMO Keyboard

hardwareheaven.com: With Razer's great success in the MMO market thanks to the Naga mouse it was only a matter of time before Razer started to look at other products which could appeal to consumers who want to maximise their MMO experience and one of those is the new Anansi keyboard which we have on our test bench today.

Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard

techpowerup.com: The Razer Lycosa Keyboard is the company's first input device with the flat key type - similar to that of notebooks. Those never tend to be the best for gaming, but Razer has managed to eliminate any shortcomings with a perfect pressure point and rubber coated keys.

Razer Arctosa Gaming Keyboard

ocia.net: One year ago Shawn reviewed the Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard, which bears a striking resemblance to the one I have in my hands, the new Arctosa. In case you were wondering where Razer came up with these names, both Lycosa and Arctosa are families of wolf spiders, just like the Tarantula that shares its name with Razer's original gaming keyboard.

Razer Arctosa USB Gaming Keyboard

benchmarkreviews.com: The Arctosa Gaming Keyboard is one of Razer's entry-level enthusiast peripherals to help gamers get into the world of high-end keyboards. It is a keyboard with many of the advanced features that you expect on a gaming keyboard, but with a price that wont break the bank.

Logitech G15 Keyboard

motherboards.org: Logitech put a lot of work into this keyboard, and it shows. They made a highly functional gaming keyboard without holding back. Backlit LCD and keys, macro keys, instant macro recording, and all the media keys of a standard keyboard, the G15 has it all.

Logitech G15 Keyboard V2

modders-inc.com: A few years back Logitech introduced the G15 Keyboard to the masses. No one had seen a keyboard that resembled the likes of it before. It took some of the features that people had been hacking into their own keyboards and made it mainstream. But that was a few years ago and now Logitech has updated the looks of the G15 and has re-released it.

OCZ Illuminati Keyboard

driverheaven.net: Today we are looking at a new keyboard they have on offer, the OCZ Illuminati. OCZ arent generally known for their peripherals so it will be interesting to see what this product can bring to the table.
