Foxconn Does Hate Linux Support: Receiving publicity on SlashDot today is word that Foxconn refuses to support Linux. Foxconn is a large OEM motherboard manufacturer, but according to a thread on the Ubuntu Forums, they refuse to support Linux. There is a bug in one of their DSDT tables for their BIOS that's causing installation issues with Linux.

Were looking at the P35 chipset based motherboard today and since this is an ES, it doesnt come in a retail package and had a few things missing that will be pointed out.

pcstats.com: Foxconn's MARS motherboard was a breeze to work with, I particularly liked the physical power, reset and clear CMOS buttons. Enthusiasts will find a very tweakable BIOS, and the Gladiator BIOS tools are a real time saver. Be warned though, if you're new to the overclocking game don't go too crazy with the voltage options, you can permanently damage your hardware!
