Merging In The GNU D Language Compiler To GCC: Nearly one year ago I wrote about Digital Mars wanting to merge the GNU D Compiler into GCC. Finally it looks like merging the compiler for the D programming language is nearing a point of reality...

Digital Mars Is Wanting To Merge D Into GCC: Walter Bright of Digital Mars has brought up with the GCC list what steps need to be traveled so that GDC, the GNU D Compiler, can be merged into GCC. Right now the GNU Compiler Collection doesn't have support for the D programming language, but that may soon change if this merge by Digital Mars is successful...

Foxconn Does Hate Linux Support: Receiving publicity on SlashDot today is word that Foxconn refuses to support Linux. Foxconn is a large OEM motherboard manufacturer, but according to a thread on the Ubuntu Forums, they refuse to support Linux. There is a bug in one of their DSDT tables for their BIOS that's causing installation issues with Linux.

Kingmax Mars DDR2-667 KLCC28F-A8EB5: Although Kingmax is no Corsair, Mushkin, or OCZ in the enthusiast market for that matter here in the United States, they have been quietly making memory solutions since 1989 and made quite a stir here during SDRAM days. Up for review today, we have their Mars DDR2-667 512MB modules, but with a SPD CAS Latency of five can it keep up with such low-latency alternatives as Corsair's XMS2-5400UL? Well to be frank, hell yes it can! We managed to tighten these 5-5-5-15 modules all the way to 3-3-3-8, while being completely stable on air!

Foxconn TV-544 & TP-544 ATX Towers: The case market these days is saturated with cases of all varieties. The most popular ones are flashy modded cases, or high quality aluminum cases. However if you're just looking for a very sturdy, well-built case, Foxconn's TV-544 or TP-544 might be the perfect case for you.

Foxconn Mars

tbreak.com: We want to start out by thanking Foxconn Technology Group for sending us an Engineering Sample of their first ever gaming motherboard based on the new Mars series. Were looking at the P35 chipset based motherboard today and since this is an ES, it doesnt come in a retail package and had a few things missing that will be pointed out.

Foxconn Mars Intel P35 Express

pcstats.com: Foxconn's MARS motherboard was a breeze to work with, I particularly liked the physical power, reset and clear CMOS buttons. Enthusiasts will find a very tweakable BIOS, and the Gladiator BIOS tools are a real time saver. Be warned though, if you're new to the overclocking game don't go too crazy with the voltage options, you can permanently damage your hardware!
