Phoronix Information

AMD Radeon HD 3300 / 790GX: Back in March we looked at the AMD Radeon HD 3200 graphics with AMD's 780G Chipset and found it to be a reputable performer. Its performance was almost identical to that of the discrete Radeon HD 2400PRO graphics card and was capable of running some Linux games at a playable frame-rate.

AMD Launches 790GX / Radeon HD 3300: Back in March we had benchmarked the ATI Radeon HD 3200, which is an integrated graphics processor (IGP) built into AMD's 780G motherboard chipset for use with Phenom processors (but is also backwards compatible with early AMD AM2 CPUs). We were pleased with the performance of the Radeon HD 3200 IGP, but today AMD has introduced the 790GX Chipset with Radeon HD 3300 graphics...

Industry Reviews

AMD's 790GX chipset

techreport.com: AMD built one heck of a north bridge chip with the 780G. Not only does it feature the fastest integrated graphics core around in the Radeon HD 3200, but the 780G is also capable of full Blu-ray decode acceleration for silky smooth 1080p playback with nominal CPU utilization.

Foxconn A7DA-S AMD 790GX

pcstats.com: Foxconn's A7DA-S motherboard is based on the AMD 790GX chipset and new AMD southbridge called the SB750 core logic. These two components make for an comprehensive feature set that goes beyond the standard integrated graphics offering, we'll talk more about that in a moment.

DFI LanParty DK 790GX-M2RS

madshrimps.be: DFI has taken the latest AMD 790GX chipset and loaded it on a flashy motherboard fitted with custom cooling and fully fleshed out BIOS which allows you to tweak almost every aspect of the AM2+ platform. Let us find out if the engineers at DFI were able to extract more performance from the 790GX chipset compared to the competition.

ASUS M3A78-T AMD 790GX

pcstats.com: The ASUS M3A78-T motherboard features AMD's latest Integrated Graphics Processor, the Radeon HD 3300. The interesting point about this IGP is that it has 128MB of additional DDR3 Sideport memory just for itself. In previous reviews of 790GX motherboards we've seen that this is one of the fastest integrated graphics processors on the market, mainly because it's more like an integrated videocard than standard IGPs which are not equipped with dedicated RAM.

ASRock M3A790GXH/128M 790GX

tweaktown.com: ASRock has been one of the up and comers in the motherboard market. Originally slated to be an OEM only producer, ASRock found that just building plain boring boards may make you a few bucks, but mainstream users are now wanting more and more on their systems and are turning more towards high-end and enthusiast boards.
