AMD FirePro V4800 & FirePro V7800: Last month we reviewed the ATI FirePro V8800, which is the newest ultra high-end workstation graphics card from AMD that is based upon the Evergreen graphics processor found in the consumer-grade Radeon HD 5000 series. We were blown away by the performance of the FirePro V8800 and then we subsequently reviewed the FirePro V3800 and FirePro V5800 when they launched later in the month.

AMD FirePro V3800 & FirePro V5800: Earlier this month we reviewed the brand new ATI FirePro V8800 graphics card, which was AMD's first workstation graphics card based upon the Evergreen GPU refresh (derived from the consumer-grade Radeon HD 5000 series ASICs), and it was a magnificent performer.

AMD Launches FirePro V8800 Graphics Card: More than a year ago AMD rolled out the ATI FirePro V8700 workstation graphics card and months later then pushed out the FirePro V8750 as their new ultra high-end graphics card for those engaging in CAD, imaging, and other tasks. Now though AMD has unveiled the FirePro V8800 series that replaces the V8750 for the top spot...

AMD FirePro V8750 2GB: We reviewed the FirePro V8700 1GB workstation graphics card back in March, but AMD has now introduced its evolutionary successor to this ultra high-end product, and that is the ATI FirePro V8750 2GB. The FirePro V8750 continues to be based off the ATI RV770 graphics processor, but is now backed by 2GB of 900MHz GDDR5 memory.

AMD Announces The ATI FirePro Series: In time for SIGGRAPH 2008, AMD has announced the ATI FirePro series with the FirePro V3700 and V5700 being the first two products. However, unlike many of their FireGL graphics cards, the prices on these two announced FirePro parts aren't that bad. The FirePro V3700 will cost a mere $99 USD while the V5700 will be $599 USD.
