OCZ GameXStream Reviews

OCZ GameXStream 700W

pro-clockers.com: There was probably no power supply as popular or as trustworthy as the PowerStream line from OCZ. And with as much respect that power supply has gotten over the years, OCZ would be hard pressed to come up with a better unit. But, they have released the new GameXStream 600 and 700 watt power boxes. Will it compete with the PowerStream, we will soon see.

OCZ GameXStream 700W

legionhardware.com: Already this year we have seen so many extremely powerful graphics cards and processors appear, and those lucky enough are probably already enjoying all they have to offer us. Those with already very powerful gaming systems will know just how important a good quality power supply is and why we have these high wattage monsters. This time last year 600 watt power supplies were considered somewhat outrageous, while today 550 watt is becoming more of a standard; the reason for this is clear.

OCZ GameXStream 600W

3dgameman.com: Like the PowerStream and ModStream Power Supplies, OCZ has hit the mark again. While the GameXStream Power Supply doesn't have adjustable rails or modular design, it still has lots going for it. At the top of the list for most computer users who demand quality is the requirement for the Power Supply to provide enough power for their needs. This product comes in a 600W and 700W configurations, so not a problem?.

OCZ GameXStream 700W

modthebox.com: The exhaust portion of the GameXStream shows a well ventilated honey-comb grill. A blue power on/off switch, and 3 prong power connector. There is no 115V ? 240 switch, as the unit will adjust from North American power standards to European power standards automatically.

OCZ GameXStream 700W

extremeoverclocking.com: OCZ Technology has released a new line of power supplies dubbed the "GameXStream" series. Currently available in only 600W and 700W configurations, these power supplies are meant for serious PC enthusiasts, gamers, and power users. Both models are SLI-Ready and feature some pretty impressive specifications.

OCZ GameXStream 700W

techgage.com: Have a beefy system that requires a large PSU, but don't want to suffer with an ugly unit? OCZ recently released their GameXStream series which are designed with gamers specifically in mind, and promise to deliver "XStream" performance.

OCZ GameXStream 700w

virtual-hideout.net: It's also lighter in weight than a lot of units out there, which is nice because in this case quality isn't sacrificed for its light weight. I found the OCZ GameXStream 700w to be an outstanding unit with rock solid voltages, ultra-high efficiency, and solid build quality.

OCZ GameXStream 700W

cluboc.net: PC Gamers put a pretty tough demand on power supplies. The average consumer doesn't build a system around SLI, but some gamers are looking to the future with QUAD SLI. But even if a standard SLI is your goal, a high end graphics card can pull as much as 150 watts. Let alone the demand of running two cards in tandem. I don't' want to sound like a Star Trek: Original Series repeat, but with a system build like that - WE'RE GOING TO NEED MORE POWER. OCZ can give it to you, in the form of the GameXStream-700.

OCZ GameXStream 700W

techpowerup.com: OCZ is well known for their great overclocking memory. But they also had a PSU product a long time ago. Now the power supply line of products gets a refresh with new products. The first of them is the OCZ GameXStream 700W which is designed with gamers in mind. It is SLI Ready and certified by ATI for use with Crossfire.

OCZ GameXStream 700W

viperlair.com: The OCZ GameXStream is a rock solid PSU, it is an excellent performer voltage wise, well cooled and not so loud that you'll want to keep the PC in another room so you can hear yourself think. OCZ knows what gamers and PC enthusiasts want, extreme performance, stability, quality and last but not least it has to look good to. The GamerXStream provides all of this and more.

OCZ GameXStream 850w

ocia.net: It's no secret that today's hardware is demanding more power than ever before. For instance, those interested in running two 8800GTX cards in SLI are looking at a bare minimum of 750 watts in the power supply department. Factor in your processor(s) demands, hard drive(s) and watercooling gear and that 750 watt minimum seems a little less inviting. Granted, many of us are not fortunate enough to have the budget to support such extreme hardware addictions, there is one thing that we all should consider when purchasing a new power supply: future-proof.

OCZ GameXStream 850W

virtual-hideout.net: The OCZ GameXStream is an 850W power supply. As more and more gamers take advantage of the gaming benefits offered by multi-GPU technology, the need for improved power supply solutions increases greatly.
