Intel Core i5-2520M testing with a HP 161C and Intel Sandybridge Mobile (GT2+) on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS daily snapshot from 6 March 2012. Testing of the Linux 3.2, 3.3 Git, and 3.3 + drm-next kernels as of 6 March. Using the Ubuntu mainline kernel PPA. Testing for a future article on Phoronix.com looking at the performance impact of the upcoming Intel Sandy Bridge DRM driver changes for the Linux 3.4 kernel.
