A number of updates to the OpenBenchmarking.org software platform are being implemented this weekend. Below are some of the user-facing enhancements.
- The "Compare Test Results" feature on the result pages is enhanced (example page). There should be more matching results listed now thanks to some algorithm enhancements in being able to quickly find compatible results.
- The OpenBenchmarking.org search has been improved to reflect more accurate results (e.g. sometimes searching "Ubuntu 11.10" would yield "Lenovo Ubuntu 11.10") due to caching and other factors. There's also been some other minor search enhancements too. I'm very interested in feedback if you hit any search results that appear bogus or not accurate.
- Better formating of the blog index page.
- Small cosmetic changes and other minor enhancements throughout.
There's also some OpenBenchmarking.org Performance Classifications (OPC) work and other items still being worked on today and Sunday. Feedback, as always, is welcome and appreciated. Stay tuned for more OpenBenchmarking.org news.
